Chia seeds are consumed for their health benefits. They contain omega 3 fatty acids B vitamins, calcium, iron, magnesium, riboflavin and folate. Chia seeds can be consumed in smoothies, juices or cereals. When mixed with water they produce a gel that can be used as egg replacement.
